This hands-on, 2-day experience introduces teachers to ways of incorporating biotechnology into biology, chemistry, and environmental science through an agriculture context.
Learn micropipetting, aseptic technique, dilutions, pouring agar plates, gel electrophoresis, gram staining, and making biofuels. Meet industry experts who will connect classroom learning to Ohio biotech careers.
Middle and high school teachers attending the full two days will receive over $300 worth of classroom lab supplies and 16 hours of contact time.
