Science educators from across the state of Ohio to participate in six professional learning sessions between January 2024 and June 2024 focused on the four teaching practices found in the Ambitious Science Teaching book . Sessions will consist of pre-assigned readings, hands-on activities, lesson modeling, discussion groups, and reflective exercises. By the end of the project, each educator will create at least two lessons/ activities that incorporate their learning and these will be shared with others through SECO webinars in the fall of 2024. Non grant funded participants mare responsible for purchasing the book and it is not included as part of the registration.
