SECO Webinar November 2022- Ohio Energy Project and the National Museum of African American History and Culture

  • November 28, 2022
  • 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM
  • Online

Since 1988, Ohio Energy Project (OEP) has been energizing classrooms, inspiring students, and empowering educators with science-based, standards-aligned programs that spark curiosity about energy. Through STEM-focused curricula and hands-on training, OEP will help to equip teachers and our next generation with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take charge of their future and lead their peers, families, and communities in energy literacy and conservation. We are excited to discuss our amazing energy programs with you on November 28th!

At the National Museum of African American History and Culture we create STEM education programs and resources for 3rd-12th grade teachers and students. We share and illuminate well-known and lesser-known stories of African American STEM figures and their cultural and historical impacts. During this session, participants will learn about our programs and resources and how we work to change the narrative around African American participation in STEM and their contributions to the nation’s history.
