FREE K-8 Teacher Workshop, jointly sponsored by CJ STEMM, the University of Dayton School of Engineering, the University of Dayton School of Education (Dept. of Teacher Education), and the Center for Catholic Education for K-8 teachers.


A 3-day STEM to STEAM to STREAM Teacher Workshop

June 27-29, 2018

8:30 a.m. to 3 pm

At the University of Dayton.

Workshop Topics -

What is the engineering design process?

How to use the engineering design process to create innovative, relevant, and effective STEM, STEAM, and STREAM curriculum that is correlated to the Common Core Standards.

How to develop appropriate and authentic assessment and evaluation of student learning in STEM lessons.


Attend two days, June 27-28, for their focus on STEM to STEAM

or

Attend all three days, June 27-29, to add the "R" for Religion to become STREAM


Learn, collaborate, and network with other K-8 teachers

A stipend of $50 is available for project materials during the workshop

Lunch is provided each day
