  • COSI Columbus 333 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215
Want to incorporate project-based and design- based learning units into your current curriculum but have NO idea where to start? What exactly is project-based and design-based learning anyway? In this symposium we will:

1. Help you understand the concept of project-based and design-based learning
2. Feature learning units covering Physical, Earth and Space, and Life Science content
3. Connect you to many resources which allow you to implement a tried and true unit or create one yourself.

This hybrid workshop incorporates 4-days at COSI where teachers in grades K-8 will develop ways to integrate new design-based and project-based learning experiences into your current curriculum. After your COSI sessions, you can continue your learning and honing your teaching skills through follow up with your instructor and cohort on-line; to give support and feedback on lessons created and implemented in your classroom, inspired by your summer sessions.

Up to 3 graduate credits available from Ashland University.
Parking at COSI is included in your registration fee.
