Formative Assessment Techniques & Student Engagement

Experience numerous formative assessment techniques that engage all students and provide real-time data on student confidence and understanding. The data can then be used to inform instruction and make adjustments during the lesson.

Techniques range from no-tech to high-tech, individual to whole class, and “at your seat” to “moving around the room.” Science content examples span the grades. Workshop fee includes materials teachers can begin using the next day.
