2019 SECO Science Symposium Exhibitors

The Science Education Council of Ohio invites you to participate as an exhibitor at the SECO Science Symposium.  The Symposium will be held at the Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center on January 28 and 29, 2019.  The purpose of the Symposium is to provide teachers of Ohio with the most up-to-date teaching, learning and assessment techniques for science education.  Our Symposium is attended by approximately 400 teachers from all over the state and includes a reasonably equal distribution of elementary, middle and high school teachers. The exhibit area is a highlight for our attendees, an inviting place where they can find strategies to support their profession.  Exhibitors have found it an ideal place to showcase their newest materials and resources to teachers and administrators.

Cost and Size of Exhibit Space:

  • $500 per For-Profit Exhibit Hall Booth (Includes Registration for Two Individuals, 5’ Table, Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks, WIFI and Electrical Access)
  • $425 per Non-Profit/Informal Science Organization (Includes Registration for Two Individuals, 5’ Table, Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks, WIFI and Electrical Access)
  • $200 per Extra Table (Maximum 1 Extra Table/Booth)

Schedule for Exhibitors:

  • Grand Opening of the exhibits will be at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 followed by a twenty-five minute uninterrupted segment of time for attendees to visit the exhibitor areas.  There will also be refreshment breaks each afternoon near the exhibitor areas.  
  • Tentatively, the exhibit hours will be Monday, January 28th, 9:50 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday, January 29th, 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
  • Exhibitors are encouraged to stay until the end of the Symposium on Tuesday.
  • Tentatively, set-up hours will be after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019. 
  • The Symposium online schedule, with a listing of exhibitors, will be made available to attendees in late December through January.
